It’s 11.11, crazy online shopping day!

剁手(duò shǒu= to chop off someone’s hand)is a new word to express the regret after impulse spending.

On November 11th, there will be a lot of discounts on platforms like Taobao and Tmall. And a lot of people can not resist buying more than they need or can afford. That’s why a lot of people are going to duò shǒu next week!

1. 今年双11你剁手了吗?

Did you chop your hand off(buy anything) on Nov 11th  this year?

zuótiān wǒ yòu mǎi le yīduī dōngxī ,wǒ yào duòshǒu!

2. 昨天我又买了一堆东西,我要剁手!

I bought a bunch of things again yesterday, I am chopping my hand off

wèile kòngzhì zìjǐ bú duòshǒu ,wǒ yào bǎ táobǎo xièzǎi le
