Finally! A weekend with no rain! It’s going to be nice to not have to worry about losing my umbrella. Unfortunately, this also means we don’t have the rain to lower the termperatures. ROCKCANDI, a newly opened craft beer bar in Shekou, 5 min food walk from Sea World metro station. Last we checked there were just two seats left for Claudio’s Pizza Making Class for Kids this Sunday July 24th at Backstube Les 5 Chef’s. The two hour class is from 2-4pm and includes everything your child will need to make his or her own Margarita or Salami pizza for just 150 RMB. If you’re looking for a way to get out of the heat, stop by the Winter Wonderland Exhibit at the Art Space in Sea World (Beneath Wanghai Road). It’s open daily from 11am to 9pm and offers a chance to check out some cool ice sculptures, play bumper cars (on ice) and take a short inner-tube ride (yes, that’s me in the photo below so they are strong inner tubes). Only cash and WeChat payment are accepted at the door. The ticket price is ￥68 for adults and ￥39 for children.
