The Regulations of Shenzhen Municipality on the Administration of Keeping Dogs states that it is forbidden to raise strong dogs and other prohibited breeds in residential areas, commercial areas, and industrial parks. The penalty for having these types of dogs is a fine of up to five thousand yuan and confiscation of the dogs.
