Foreigner arrested and tasered in Shenzhen Starbucks

UPDATED May 16, 2017: According to a police contact, the foreigner in the video below was deported today after six weeks in jail. He was deported for “overstaying and attacking the police.”

UPDATE: Eye witness accounts report that he was inebriated and violent and that the police took action after he physically assaulted someone. We’ll post more if further details arise.

One of our readers just sent us this video of an incident that took place just after 6pm Thursday March 30th at the Starbucks in Sea World Square, Shekou, Shenzhen. We’ll try to get more details to share.
