Last week, SIS was delighted to celebrate the Year of Rabbit with the Gecko community. With the support from World Language and Mandarin teams, we had a full day of various activities on our three campuses this year.
Starting in primary, students performed singing, dancing, poetry recitation, and fashion shows in traditional Chinese clothing at the assembly. In Secondary, students learned how to write Chinese characters on couplets, create dough figures and facemasks, and make dumplings. Our early primary students were also invited to the Net Valley Secondary campus to enjoy the magnificent face-changing show of the Sichuan Opera. We also carried on with our traditional lion dances, which have brought much joy to our students and staff.
