How to Get from HKIA to Shenzhen?

Unfortunately, with the ferry suspension, now all the transportation options from the airport to Shenzhen that are usually promoted by the airport are no longer available.

As long as you have not been in mainland China in the last 14 days; however, you can safely go out into Hong Kong without risk of quarantine (visa may be required based on your nationality), and catch a city bus or taxi to the border. Taxis cost about 350 Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) to the Shenzhen Bay border. Unfortunately, there are no direct city buses to Shenzhen Bay from the Airport; however, we found this route by calling two bus operators. We’ve listed each of their customer service numbers below (English speaking operators available); in case you need to call to confirm.

Take City Bus A33X (27.7 HKD) to Tuen Mun (Fu Tai) from the Airport . It runs from 05:45 a.m. to 12 midnight. KMB Customer Service Hotline +852 2745 4466. Then take bus B3X (11.8 HKD) to Shenzhen Bay. It runs every 30 minutes, from 6:15 am to 11:05 p.m. City Bus Customer Service – +852 2873-0818.

UPDATE: Other Routes from HKIA

If you’ve been in Mainland China in the last 14 days and cannot go into Hong Kong, other options currently available at the time of writing this article are to take the ferry to Guangzhou or Zhuahi. Visit http://www.cksp.com.hk/en for ticket info.
