International Housekeeping Week at The Langham, Shenzhen

From 7 to11 September, The Langham, Shenzhen has organized the “International Housekeeping Week” event, to present sincere appreciation to hotel housekeeping staff that deserves applauds and cheer for their hard work. Moreover, the media opening day also revealed the routine work of housekeeping and high standard service of The Langham, Shenzhen.

International Housekeeping Week first came to world stage in 1981, aiming at expressing gratitude to hotel housekeeping staff who builds a comfortable and safe accommodation experience for guests. During the 5 days celebration, the housekeeping staff in The Langham, Shenzhen has enjoyed a series of games every day.

On the media opening day, 8 media representatives experienced the routine work of hotel housekeeping, such as flowers making, towels folding, shirts folding, as well as bed and room making, during which they recognized the high standard of Langham service, as part of the tradition originated from a 150 year luxury European hotel brand. 

General Manager of The Langham, Shenzhen, Mr. Sven Isberg said: “we would like to have this kind of event happening every year in order to thank our housekeeping staff for their excellence. We always pay attention to health and safety of our guests, as we believe that well trained staffs of our hotel will be able to produce a high standard service quality which is the key element for guests ”satisfaction”.
