Ms Tang Guangyan is perhaps one of the most famous icons in Cheongsam (also known as Qipao in Chinese) designing and making field in China. Graduated from Central Academy of Craft Art ( now named The Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University), Tang Guangyan was also, for a certain time, an apprentice for well-known cheongsam designer and maker Yang Chenggui, who is from Taiwan.
Now Tang Guangyan has her own company and brand named Tang Song Fu Shi in Luohu District, Shenzhen. She has ever designed and hand-made Cheongsam for politicians, artists, stars, etc. Even Richard Clayderman, the French pianist, likes her creation and accepted her Cheongsam as a present when he was in China years ago.
Tang Guangyan makes efforts to create the most exquisite cheongsam in China. Up to now, all their Cheongsam are carefully designed and handmade. Their shop in Shenzhen lies in Unit C053, third floor, Hangcheng Arts Plaza, No 1021 Yanhe South Road, Luohu District. Surely that it worthes a visit for those Cheongsam and Chinese tradition lover.
