Shekou News recently reported that a new mountaineering road called “Hai Yun” has opened with direct access to Da Nan Shan Park.
The entrance of the hiking trail is on the right side of the gate of Shanhaiyun Community.
The end point is connected with Da Nanshan Park Road.
The total length of the new trail is 446 meters and includes a platform for resting, viewing and sports, and more than 30 kinds of plant varieties.
Those waiting to access the park from the southwest side will now be able to do so without coming around to the Minghua side.
According to avid hikers in the area, this trail has actually been there for about two years already; however, the entrance had previously been locked.
Now it’s open and Shekou News reports that the tentative opening hours are from 7:00 to 18:00 every day.
It is forbidden to enter at other times; however, the security guard post at the entrance to the mountain trail has not yet been built.
After the completion of the construction of the security guard post, the opening hours should be consistent with other entry times.
