The 7th International Cultural Industries Fair will be held from May 13- 16, 2011 at the Shenzhen Municipal Exhibition Center. Exhibition and Trade, Forums, Awards, Celebration Activities and Online Exhibition will brace up the 4-day event, similar to those held in the previous years. The activities will be held inside the halls of the center occupying each respective portion to accommodate the event for the day, so every exhibitor must acquaint themselves with the floor details of the exhibition. Standing on the north ground, the most comprehensive hall, the Cultural Industries Project Trade Hall occupying 30000 square meters of space, is found at the center of the left quadrant. The Creative Living Hall and the Arts and Crafts Hall occupies 15000 square meters of the area, separated by the Cultural Hall. And the remaining halls on the right quadrant would share and occupy 7500 square meters of the convention center, respectively, the Art Hall, the Press and Publication Hall (showcasing publication, audio and video products), the Creative Design Hall, the Multifunctional Hall (for the opening ceremonies and the like), the Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall and the Movies, Television, Animation and Video Games Hall (for filmed productions).

A visitor may enter the exhibition halls with complimentary tickets, badges or other documents and they must strictly abide by the rules of admission set forth by the organizing committee. Viewing time varies from each day. The first day would allow visitors and participants inside from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. The suggested registration time would be 10:00 am. For the 2nd and 3rd day, the exhibition is open from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm due to the accomodation of large numbers of spectators and viewers. On the last day, the exhibition will open at 9:00 am and close at 5:30 pm. Tickets are sold ahead of time or you can buy them outside the exhibition center. The visitors are advised to be vigilant and alert since this is also the time for thieves to go on a spree. The security officers will have to frisk, scan and check the baggages of visitors for flammables and explosives, and dangerous objects. Pets are not allowed and so is smoking inside the halls. If and when the area becomes congested, the organizers will be prompted to control the number of viewers until such time that traffic is eased. The organizers also reserve the right to refuse any visitor found to be in violation of the notice of admission. Children should be accompanied by their parents. The organizers allow picture and video-taking; however the same is restricted to the personal enjoyment of the person taking the same and shall not be use for any proprietary auctions unless consented to by the organizers. Visitors are expected to fully understand the rules of admission printed at the back of the ticket to avoid any trouble while inside the exhibition center.

For overseas buyers, the ICIF Organizing Committee offers complimentary badges and information. Every prospective buyer may register online to get a full accomodation during the event. The applications will be screened and approved depending on the standards set by the organizers. Application will last until May 8, 2011 at 12 noon.
