ShekouDaily   |   May 1, 2018

As the city of Shenzhen cracks down on violators of traffic regulations, it’s become increasingly difficult for e-bike riders to avoid penalties and or confiscation of their e-bikes. In the wake of the confiscations; which began in November of 2016, a group of 182 researchers have volunteered their time to gather information to help protect the endangered e-bike riders of the Shekou Sub-District of Shenzhen.

Here’s a brief summary of what was found during the month of April, 2018:

47 sightings were reported at 20 different locations. The vast majority of reports were made between 08:30 and 11:00 and between 15:30-18:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
