Paris, much closer to Shenzhen

Recently, Paris Region Tourist Board, Paris Aéroport and their partners: Choose Paris Region, Paradis Latin Cabaret and Hainan Airlines held a press conference in Shenzhen to celebrate the upcoming first anniversary of the connectivity between Paris and Shenzhen.

Paris Region, as the world’s top tourist destination, received 50 million visitors in 2018, of which 1 million were from China. She has always been the capital of fashion, cuisine, luxury and romance. Moreover, Pairs Region has held different kinds of cultural activities, festivals and sports events and will hold the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024.

Tailor-made services for Chinese tourists

In order to offer better services to Chinese tourists, Paris Region Tourist Board has opened a hotline in 2018 dedicated to Chinese tourists: 0803 300 800, from Monday to Sunday, 7:00 to 22:00.

It is worth mentioning that Paris Region Tourist Board has launched a portable WiFi service that allows visitors to enjoy high-speed internet throughout their stay in Paris. And in order to meet the 100% cash-free consumption habits of Chinese tourists, many merchants now accept WeChat pay and Alipay. Also, visitors could choose different types of Paris Pass, through which, they could get unlimited use of public transport and free entry at top Paris Region attractions.

In addition, in June 2018, Paris Region Tourist Board took the lead in Europe in establishing a cooperative relationship with Alibaba. In December 2018, it set up a destination landing page on Fliggy to introduce various tourist attractions and theme tours.

Chinese tourists are warmly welcomed at Paris Aéroport
