L’Avenue provokes contemporary French style with exquisite taste, while honouring cultural traditions and the beauty of China. L’Avenue consists of a salon-bar and a brasserie, all intimately connected through the same design language but in different dialect.
Greeting guests at the entrance is the salon. The space is crafted with rich textures, majestic green marble and wood panelling that exudes timelessness, and at the same time, creates a feeling of reserved, relaxed opulence.
Located on the second floor is the brasserie which is divided into a main dining room and two astounding private rooms. The 50-seat dining room is filled with natural light and features colonial wall coverings forming the backdrop of the dining scene, with natural wood and mosaic floors. Custom-made lighting fixtures combine art nouveau with Chinese tradition, seamlessly blending the new and old.
The menu offers a glimpse into the great French culinary classics such as Pomme Boulangère, Sauce Bordelaise, Salad Paysanne, Clam Mariniere, Whole Flounder Meuniere, Chantilly Cream and many others. L’Avenue promises dishes that retain the essence of these timeless flavours while giving it a refined and lighter touch.
L’Avenue is a haven for wine enthusiasts, with a hand-picked collection of the very finest French wines by our seasoned sommeliers that you can enjoy at the comfort of a bistro setting.
The unrivalled wine selection is a line-up of more than 180 coveted bottles that showcase an alluring diversity of wine terroir, appellations and vintages rarely found in China. L’Avenue takes pride in its collection from Burgundy to smaller wine regions such as Loire, Rhone and Jura which take the spotlight.
