Our native-English speaking teaching staff are recruited from leading schools around the world, and bring maturity and dynamism to the classroom. Most hold Masters or PhDs in Education and have, on average, 15+ years teaching experience.

DR MARTIN KIRK, HEAD OF SCIENCE 科学学科主任
Dr Martin Kirk joins LEH Foshan as the Head of Science. Previously Dr Kirk was in the UK teaching IGCSE and A Level Chemistry, and he has also taught Science in British international schools around the world including in Thailand, Dubai and Spain.
Martin Kirk博士以科学学科主任一职加入佛山LEH。Kirk博士曾在英国教授IGCSE和A Level化学，他还在世界各地（包括泰国、阿联酋迪拜和西班牙）的英国国际学校教授过科学学科。
Dr Kirk had coached rugby and cricket sports teams and led students through the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, both from the University of Leeds.
Kirk博士曾执教橄榄球和板球校队，带领学生获得爱丁堡公爵奖。拥有利兹大学化学学士学位和无机化学博士学位。

MS ELIZABETH HODGES, HEAD OF BIOLOGY

Ms Elizabeth Hodges joins LEH Foshan as Head of Biology from Tanglin Trust School, Singapore. Her teaching experience spans IGCSE and A level Biology and IB Diploma Program Biology and Theory of Knowledge. She has led projects on whole-school academic enrichment. Before that she taught at schools in Oxfordshire.
Elizabeth Hodges女士以生物学科主任一职加入佛山LEH。在此之前，她任教于新加坡的一所国际学校。她的教学经验丰富，曾教授IGCSE和A-Level的生物学科、IB课程的生物学科以及知识理论学科。她曾主导全校的学术丰富课程项目，还曾在英国牛津郡的学校任教。
An alumna of LEH in London, Ms Hodges was a keen oarswoman at school and represented Great Britain in European and World competitions. She has coached a variety of sport clubs, led students through the Duke of Edinburgh awards and has supported students with global debating and the Scholars Cup competitions. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences and is studying for an MSc in Public and Environmental Health.
Elizabeth Hodges女士是英国LEH的校友，同时也是一名优秀的划艇运动员，曾代表英国参加欧洲及世界划艇赛事。她还是许多运动俱乐部的教练，带领学生参加爱丁堡公爵奖项目，指导学生参加全球辩论赛和学者杯竞赛。Elizabeth Hodges女士获得了人文科学学士学位，同时目前在攻读公共健康的硕士学位。
“As an alumna, I understand the benefits of an LEH education. I am excited to help shape LEHF and enable it to achieve the standards of LEH in London. I am keen to set up a Biology department that will combine academic excellence with fostering students’ interest in the human body and the natural world around them. I also hope to learn more about China, its long history, and its culture”.

MR PETER FARNSWORTH, HEAD OF DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY
设计与技术学科主任
Mr Peter Farnsworth joins LEH Foshan after 15 years of teaching of Design and Technology in the UK. He is experienced in teaching all aspects of the subject to GCSE and A Level but specialises in electronics and engineering. During his career, Mr Farnsworth has successfully guided student teams to the finals of national competitions.
Peter Farnsworth先生以设计与技术学科主任一职加入佛山LEH，他在英国有着十五年设计与科学学科的教学经验，擅长IGCSE和A-Level的各门学科教学，尤其是电子和工程学科。在Peter Farnsworth先生的教学生涯中，他曾全程指导学生参加国际竞赛。
Outside of the classroom He has led students through the Duke of Edinburgh’s award and has coached successful school Rugby teams.
在课堂之外，他带领学生参加爱丁堡公爵奖项目，同时也是学校的橄榄球队教练。
