Shenzhen American International School (SAIS) was established upon the approval of both the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the Department of Education of Guangdong Province in May, 2005. SAIS provides quality education services to foreign nationals as well as students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Shenzhen American International School is a leader in creative education in South Asia. SAIS is a project-based learning school with a dedicated maker space on the top floor of the school. Students at SAIS learn the American-based Common Core Standards curriculum through hands-on projects, Montessori-inspired lessons, and other educational innovations. The school services grades pre-K through 8.
