In the latest edition of the Shenzhen-base web series ‘Our Chinese Life’, the Kays take a weekend excursion to Hangzhou, where they muse on some of the idiosyncrasies of life in China, taking in laundry habits, pet culture and hanging meat as they enjoy a weekend away.
The Youtube vlog, which looks light-heartedly at different aspects of expat life in the Middle Kingdom whilst deploying a sweet home-movie style 1980s aesthetic, publishes a new episode each Sunday afternoon, and covers subjects such as local food, cultural differences, raising kids in China, Chinese fashion, language-barrier problems and much more.
