Fastest Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Shekou, Shenzhen?

Hi everybody,

I’ve just moved in to an apartment in Skehou and I’m trying to find out which ISP company provides the best Internet connection (speed, stability, price). From what I’ve learned so far it looks like there are two options:

  1. China Telecom — ADSL
  2. Topway — Cable

and both have similar prices. Are there any other options? What are your experience with both ISPs? Which one do you think is better? Do you experience significant slow-downs in peak times?

It seems that speeds are reasonable when connecting to Chinese servers, but what about visiting international sites (I mean the ones that are not blocked :) )?
