Promised Land is a charity established in 2011 and provides 24/7 care for children and adults with special needs (such as autism, cerebral palsy, brain injury, Down’s syndrome, epilepsy, and more).

“It was a wonderful day as we got to interact with many people from different walks of life to give back to others,” Dr. Ho continued. The Chengmei staff enjoyed the time, providing services as blood pressure checks, glucose tests, and an interactive demonstration of CPR.

This year’s event saw a doubling of the vendor stations and included such activities as a talent show, a silent auction, children’s games, and of course delicious delicacies.

“Thank you for coming out and supporting the good work of Promised Land and blessing its staff and residents!”
