Hilton property joins Team Members from around the world in preserving environments and furthering responsible travel and tourism
Guangzhou, China – (March 27, 2018) – DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou celebrated Earth Hour 2018 from 8:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 by Environmental Knowledge Quiz Competition. The hotel was taking action locally to engage in sustainability efforts – from water stewardship and energy conservation to reducing waste and community projects.
“DoubleTree by Hilton Guangzhou hosted the “Start of my 60+ Life” event on 24 March that is in line with the Earth Hour event. Hotel implements numerous environmental protection and energy saving measures such as (i) LED energy-saving lighting; (ii) using of water-saving faucet and energy-saving stoves; and (iii) using time-sharing control lighting in some areas; (iv) heat recovery fron the air for Refrigeration and heating; (v) plastic bottles have been eliminated across the country at our hotel’s meeting spaces and health clubs last year.”said Mr. Richard Liu, General Manager.
