The Langham, Shenzhen Partners Haute Couture Brand The Atelier to Present The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo OBE Afternoon Tea and “Futuristic” Themed Wedding Gown Show

From 1 September to 30 November, The Langham, Shenzhen will be working with haute couture brand The Atelier to present the The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo OBE Afternoon Tea.

Inspired by the elements and design concepts of The Atelier wedding gowns, which often make use of themes such as the ocean, a starry sky and a magical setting,   Executive Pastry Chef Francesco Mannino has come up a special “Twilight” afternoon tea that is a treat for all senses.

As a reflection of the elegance of The Atelier wedding gowns, Francesco created the “Ray of Love” using cheese mousse and raspberry sauce as a base and adding to it a silky-white wedding gown made of almonds. The “Love Moments” will bring back your romantic memories. The “Oceanic Mystery” is a vivid recreation of a blue seahorse using Valrhona chocolate that adds a sweet aroma to the afternoon tea. The “Lost Heels” features a tropical mousse with rich blueberry cream. With all the delectable selections of the themed desserts, a mood for a lovely, relaxing afternoon will be set.

Every set of The Atelier by Prof. Jimmy Choo OBE Afternoon Tea also comes with up to two specially prepared gifts by The Atelier.

“Futuristic” Themed Wedding Gown Show – The Atelier’s First Show in South China

On September 1, 2019, the Themed Wedding Salon and The Atelier South China’s first show “Futuristic” Wedding Gown Show will be held on the 24th floor of the hotel and the 3rd floor of the Grand Ballroom in the morning and evening respectively.

At 10 a.m. on September 1, during the Themed Wedding Salon held at Star Room in The Langham, Shenzhen, there are not only professionals answering wedding details such as menu preparation, site construction, site coordination and dress selection, but also guests can experience sincere service and tasting various thematic snacks carefully produced by the pastry team. There is a better chance to try on the gown provided by The Atelier on the spot and experience the happy moment in advance.

At 7 p.m. on 1 September, The Langham, Shenzhen and The Atelier will jointly organise the “Futuristic” Themed Wedding Gown Show at the hotel’s Level 3 Grand Ballroom which has a 7.5 metre ceiling. The show will introduce The Atelier 2020 “Futuristic” series that features an ingenious use of fabrics to create a harmonious fusion of technology and fashion fantasy.
