The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Raghu Menon as the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen on October 15th, 2012.
With a career spanning over 16 years across Australia, Asia, Middle East and the United Kingdom with international hotel brands, the Australian-native general manager is enthusiastic about his impending arrival in the rapidly growing southern Chinese metropolis as he shares his optimism over the rapid development of the high-end hospitality sector in China. ”The key is to be able to quickly respond to or anticipate the demand for quality service and handle the challenge of dealing with a consumer whose needs are constantly developing” he explains.
Rising from an F&B background, Mr. Menon’s most recent role was Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton & JW Marriott Hotel, Beijing. He is a graduate of International College of Hotel Management in Australia and will be joined in Shenzhen by his wife and daughter.
