Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Juan marks his name in luxury hospitality with his 19 years in The Ritz-Carlton starting from The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas in 1999. Before joining The St. Regis Zhuhai, He was the GM of The Ritz-Carlton, Macau and previously the Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. Now he brings his experience and expertise on luxury hotel management into The St. Regis Zhuhai, leading a sophisticated team with hotel elites from Italy, Spain, Croatia, Netherland and China, to ensure a successful hotel opening. Juan works with an intensive manner on details and quality, while in private, he is actually a very energetic and humorous father for 2 little boys.

Stephan Van Tilburg

Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage

Originally from Netherland, Stephan is a seasoned hotelier with over 17-years working experience in many renowned luxury hotels including The St. Regis Singapore. As a Classicism enthusiast, Stephan is keen to create modern dining experiences for guests, with a touch of royal demeanor and elegance, which perfectly aligns with the concept of The St. Regis Zhuhai –Recraft the Classics.

Aleksandar Vucic

Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms

Originally from Croatia, Aleks has worked with a handful of international hotel brands including Park Hyatt, MGM etc. for the past 12 years. He works in a very rigorous and precise manner, and yet he can always manage to balance the tension in office with his particular sense of humor. Taking on the role as EAM-Rooms, Aleks is ready to lead his team to curate bespoke experience for guests with St. Regis Butler Service.

Vincent Wong

Director of Sales& Marketing

Vincent is from Hong Kong, China. Through his 20-years journey in hospitality industry, Vincent has served in various hotel chains including Four Seasons, Hyatt and Starwood. Before taking the role as Director of Sales and Marketing at The St. Regis Zhuhai, Vincent was leader of Global Sales Office in Beijing, Four Seasons. His enriched event marketing and brand-selling experience for luxury hotels will definitely be a great treasure to the hotel. He is confident on leading the team to redefine the height of luxury in Greater Bay by an exquisite hotel debut.

Ramon Turmo

Executive Chef

Originally from Spain, Ramon has over 21 years’ experience in culinary and specializes in contemporary Spanish cuisine. He started his career in La Pennoise Restaurant in France and had worked in many Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels in Spain, Ireland and Abu Dhabi. Ramon is keen on exploring new flavors. Either at exquisite restaurants or at local markets, he can always devote himself into the discovering journeys. “There are so many flavors to be discovered in the world. As a chef I see it as my mission to unfold the best flavors to my guests.” With the passion and sophistication of the leading chef, we believe the culinary team will present the ultra-luxury gastronomy experience to the luminaries at The St. Regis Zhuhai.

Michele Tenzone

Michele is from the beautiful city of Bari, Italy. This 33-year-old gentleman has been in culinary industry for almost 13 years and has worked in 7 Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy, Spain and Luxembourg. He owns great passion for cooking. From creativity, ingredients selection, to presentation and even service, his attention to details and pursuing for excellence is what makes him a real master. This is the first time that Michele has worked in China, and he is ready to captivate the discerning gastronomy connoisseurs in the area with his glorious background and extraordinary expertise on cooking.

Tang Wei Man

Chinese Executive Chef

Chef Tang was born and raised in Hong Kong. Before taking the role as the Chinese Executive Chef, he has devoted more than 40 years in culinary, and worked in Hong Kong and Macau for many renowned hotels and restaurants. He witnesses the enormous changes in the industry while remains the unaltered passion for Cantonese cuisines. Being enthusiastic on the Hong Kong flavors of 1980’s and 1990’s, he is keen on delivering these traditional flavors to guests by infusing them into his creations. Always with a gentle smile on his face, Chef Tang is a very easy-going person in private, enjoying the happiness of fulfilling his passion – making guests happy with his gastronomic indulgence.
