NORMAL work and production in the part of Futian District (south of Binhe Road, east of Qiaocheng Road East and west of Hongling Road South) will resume today, but relevant COVID control measures will continue to be implemented in the lockdown, control and prevention areas, a notice issued by the district’s COVID prevention and control headquarters said yesterday.

Bus and Metro services will also resume operations. The move will remain effective from today to April 5.

Nonessential indoor entertainment venues, child care and offline training centers will remain closed. Restaurants will be allowed to offer dine-in services at 75% capacity. Supermarkets, pharmacies, stores, wholesale market and farm market will reopen with strict prevention measures in place.

As per another notice issued by the city’s COVID prevention and control headquarters last night, all cemeteries, burial sites and funeral services in the city will continue to halt in-person visits during the Qingming Festival holiday from April 3 to 5. Residents are encouraged to hold memorial services at home or online.
