Hilton Worldwide today announced the appointment of Fredrik Johansson as General Manager of Hilton Shenzhen Futian. Fredrik Johansson will report to John Burger, Area General Manager for Greater Shenzhen Area, and will be responsible for the hotel operations, including the leadership and development of the management team, overall vision for the hotels team members, driving and delivering property wide projects and ensuring that quality and guest experiences are unique to our property and are consistent with the Hilton Brand. Fredrik will also have key appointments with the media, local governments and other businesses. Fredrik will be based in Shenzhen and will begin his position on July 02, 2018.
John Burger, Area General Manager for Greater Shenzhen Area, said, “Fredrik’s experience in the hospitality sector and, in particular his knowledge of the Asian market, will ensure that our discerning guests continue to have a unique experience at the Hilton Shenzhen Futian. About Fredrik Johansson
Fredrik comes from DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Longhua where he held the same position since November 2015. Fredrik brings over 20 years of experience working in various international hotel brand such as Westin, Sheraton and Crown Plaza having spent more than 10 of those years in China. During his tenure, Fredrik has worked in the position of Food and Beverage Director, the Hotel Manager and General Manager.
Fredrik will bring all his hospitality expertise gained in various operations to his new role at Hilton Shenzhen Futian. Passion for the industry and alignment of both his and the company values create the drive behind his success.
