For the past two weeks, the operator tested Line 10 by running 16 trains, without passengers, along the line between 6:20 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. on schedule at 4-12 minute intervals.

The 29.3-kilometer Line 10 rail passes through Futian and Longgang, calling at 24 stations. Passengers can change to Lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 6 along the journey. It will greatly relieve traffic pressure between Futian CBD and Bantian, the operator said yesterday after a test ride for reporters.

In the shape of the Arabic numeral 7, Line 6 runs 49.3 kilometers and has 27 stations. It starts from Songgang Station in Bao’an and ends at Shenzhen Science Museum Station in Futian District, passing through Bao’an, Guangming, Longhua, Futian and Luohu. It is expected to stimulate the development of Guangming and Longhua and strengthen the connectivity of Shenzhen with Dongguan and Hong Kong.
