Remarks:

  1. Real-name ticketing applies. Hong Kong residents can use their Home Return Permit to buy tickets.
  2. For purchase at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, the person who purchases the tickets must be one of the travellers. Please bring along the original personal identity document of all travellers.
  3. Each person is entitled to purchase a maximum of 8 tickets in each transaction during the advance ticketing period.
  4. Ticket collection service is available at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station between 17 and 19 September if you wish to collect tickets purchased online or from tele-ticketing before the service commissioning day. Please bring along the original personal identity document of all travellers.
  5. During the advance ticketing period, the latest ticket status will be announced on www.mtr.com.hk/highspeed and High-Speed Rail Mobile App.
  6. Please note that online ticketing supports desktop PC or laptop PC with selected browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox).
  7. Mainland Domestic Tickets (journeys starting and ending at Mainland stations) are also available at the dedicated counters operated by the authorised agent at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
  8. The above service hours of ticketing channels are special arrangements during the advance ticketing period. Please visit the website for details of each of the ticketing channels upon service commissioning.

Ticketing Information

Hong Kong Ticketing Channels

Mainland Domestic Tickets are for the journeys starting and ending at Mainland stations. For example, a journey from Hong Kong to Xi’an requires a “Hong Kong –Zhengzhoudong” Cross Boundary Ticket and a “Zhengzhou – Xi’anbei” Mainland Domestic Ticket. Mainland Domestic Ticket is available at ticketing counters operated by China Railway (Hong Kong) Holdings Ltd. at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. Tickets will be issued upon purchase. Ticket alteration and refund services are also available. For alteration, handling fee applies at HKD20 per ticket.
