Shenzhen Weekly Round Up – Apr 19, 2022: COVID (obviously) 😷, Live Music and Events, and a New Metro Line (yay!)

Now Shenzhen   |   April 19, 2022

Dear Shenzhen-er,

So I went ahead and gave up on trying not to curate any news about Covid this week, sorry about that. Another update to Shenzhen’s Travel policies and some grim statistical reminders of the ongoing toll of the virus today. On a more positive note, Metro Line 14 has begun test running trains featuring some new fancy autonomous driving tech.

Things have really started opening up this past week - I visited Coco Park and Central Walk over the weekend and it looked like our community was out in full force and then some. Standing room only at Revolution Bar late into the evening!

There’s a BIG (and great) Live Music event coming up on the first of May “Dive Music Fest” that I’d whole-heartedly recommend checking out (purchasing tickets through us supports our efforts to deliver more relevant content and events to you!). Lots of other great events are also going on around town - check out our full event page for more than what we can show you in this newsletter!
