Shenzhen Weekly Round Up – Apr 5, 2022: Back to Normal, QingMing, and One Giant Container Ship

Dear Shenzhen-er, 

Life is slowly returning to normal this week - finally! There’s a silver lining accompanying the announcement of travel declaration requirements for Shenzhen this week - tolled expressways are free until the end of QingMing today! Although, with gas prices soaring upwards of 5.50/gallon I wouldn’t blame you if the news of toll-free travel lands deadpan. For a splash of normal looking news read up on the launching of the world's largest container ship from Shenzhen Port.

Head on over to Jack’s bar and kitchen for some stand-up this evening if you fancy a laugh or treat yourself real nice and grab a steak or other fine fare at Residence G’s Club House. Whatever you do - get out there and enjoy the city if you can - let’s do our part to get things back to normal.
