Shenzhen Weekly Round Up April 24: News from the Beach, Phase II of the Canton Fair, BOGO Burgers, Rio in Shenzhen & More

Dear Shenzhen-er,

Weather's looking mixed as we head into the 2nd Phase of the Canton fair over in Guangzhou. This phase will run through Thursday and you can view a full list of all the products and categories here.

In local news, a small troupe of our fellow expats graced Dapeng as part of a summer carnival celebration, NewsGD released a short mini-documentary about Jean Michel Stanislas Garczynski, a French Artist who redefined his life during his 50s in Guangzhou, and the Major of Rio gave our city high praise during his visit last week - even going so far as to equate his city as Brazil's own version of Shenzhen.

Thanks to Vista-SK for hosting their annual health and wellness fair this last weekend - friends tell me it was a great and wholesome expenditure of time.

Bluefrog is celebrating its 6th anniversary at Wongtee aka Huáng Tíng ZhōngXīn (皇庭中心) and will be running a BOGO deal on burgers all day every day this week. If you're looking for a beach-related release this weekend, check out the Sand-Sational event happening in Huidong over the coming weekend.
