Shenzhen Weekly Round Up – July 18, 2022: The Latest on Covid, Ecommerce Meetup, and New Slippery Tech

NowShenzhen   |   July 18, 2022

Dear Shenzhen-er,

Happy Monday! Maintaining a 24-hour health code is becoming second nature, enduring the unpredictable squeeze of localized closures, rescheduling, and lockdowns feel akin to background noise. The latest daily release reports 9 new cases Sunday from Nanshan, Futian, and Luohu. We selected a piece on an E-Commerce meetup involving Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Canada and an article noting yet another technological achievement for our city in the field of material science. Photothermal-responsive composite matrix anyone?

Teachers Tuesday at Pizza house anyone? This and lots of other events going on this week – don’t forget to check in with the organizers if there are any covid-related doubts that should arise. As always check out our full events page to view all upcoming events.

We’re still working on our community event planning and the consolidated Covid portal we mentioned last week – stay tuned on those initiatives!
