Dear Shenzhen-er,

Shenzhen University announces plans to up it’s game, the latest flexing on the matter of Taiwan, and an update on the Covid situation in Beijing made the cut this week. It also sounds like we can expect more of this onslaught of rain this week - word to the wise - carry a reliable umbrella on your person until the forecast improves.

A note on brunch - if you’re down in Shekou or the Nanshan area I can personally vouch for the Liberty Brunch at Residence G. Futian’s Crafthead has a solid offering on Sundays (featuring some nice fluffy pancakes - totally worth the carbs). Plenty of other activities to get involved in - check out our full events page for the latest and look out for our weekender on Thursday for further event highlights!

Stay dry out there 😉
