Dear Shenzhen-er,

Slight uptick in the Covid numbers yesterday: 10 cases reported across Futian and Luohu districts; and a total of 20 areas remain designated high or medium risk. If you haven't heard already, here's a piece on the removal of quarantine requirements for international arrivals in Hong Kong in effect as of todayA new domestically developed anti-Covid drug is headed for clinical trials;  and a little fluff about our city participating in a fashion show in fabulous Milan round our news selections this week. To stay abreast of the latest Covid news throughout the week bookmark and check our Covid Dashboard page.

Happy to report this past weekend was mostly great for events, and our friends in food and beverage. Was nice to see Seaworld and the Cocopark Area hopping again as they ought to. If you've never ventured to Shuiwei, you might be interested in taking advantage of the month long teacher's day promo going on at multiple venues in the area. Our community events are still on the backburner; and we're aiming to start up again after the upcoming break.

Finally, the team and I hope you'll have a restful and rejuvenating vacation over the October Holiday coming up. I'll be staying around Guangdong province myself attempting to hike all the noteworthy spots within the area.

Stay safe and sane out there!
