Eden Garden is a rooftop oasis in a city of skyscrapers. Located on the 16th floor of the Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai, it is worth going out of your way to visit.
Upon reaching the 16th floor, turn right past a gorgeous centrepiece into the cosmopolitan lounge where you can enjoy the view whatever the weather. The extensive bar is lined with a variety of genuine labels where you can order anything from a signature cocktail to an exclusive single malt.
Alternatively, turn towards and through the large wooden doors on the left of the entrance lobby and you will find yourself on a glorious rooftop terrace; one of the only rooftop terrace bars in Shenzhen. Boasting over 900 square metres of rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of Shenzhen Bay and across to Hong Kong, Eden Garden has a location anyone would be envious of – if you couldn’t come here and enjoy it for yourself.
Make yourself at home on the terrace where you will be serenaded by Eden Garden’s acoustic Duo Aroha, while classic black and white films – think Charlie Chaplin silent movies – play on the LED wall behind them. A few steps further back is the more secluded Japanese area of the roof which has views across the city as well as the sea, and there are also private seating areas which can accommodate up to 25 guests.
Upstairs are two VIP lounges devoted to the stunning view, complete with telescopes for those people interested in taking a closer look at the area around or the stars above. Eden Garden Manager Robert Maas has plans to turn part of this area into two private jacuzzi rooms complete with personal waiter and separate menu, for a real taste of bathing in the lap of luxury – at an affordable price. You will probably have to wait until after Chinese New Year to enjoy it; however, as it will be the first of its kind in Guangdong it will definitely be worth the wait.
As well as the extensive cocktail and wine menus which accompany the magnificent view, a mixed menu of Chinese and Western foods is available if you get peckish. And if you want something more substantial but can’t bear to tear yourself away, you can always order from Sui Xuan, the Hotel’s Cantonese restaurant – it will just take a few extra minutes for your meal to reach the 16th floor.
Service at Eden Garden is paramount, and Manager Robert Maas makes it his personal aim to ensure that every customer leaves happy and wanting to return. Since July 2016, Robert has brought his extensive experience and creativity from hotels, bars and restaurants around the world to complement and improve the established sphere of Eden Garden.
The perfect space for any occasion, from one or two people having a quiet drink whilst admiring the view to corporate events catering for up to 450 people, plus everything in between, Eden Garden is a multi-functional venue that lives up to the Hilton’s world class reputation.
With the outdoor area ready, Eden Garden will be re-launched on Friday 21st October for guests to enjoy the stunning view, impeccable service and blissful ambience, and you are cordially invited to come for a signature cocktail or a private event.
Eden Garden rooftop terrace is open and available for you to enjoy from 5pm to 12am from Sunday to Thursday and from 5pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday, whilst the inside section of Eden Garden is also open from 5pm to 12am Sunday to Wednesday.
