UPDATE
For everyone who has seen the flyer in the events section and the ad on the side bar, I apologise.
But for those who are slightly impaired in the vision area, I would like to make sure you know.
U Bar will be open for its first night tomorrow.
This is not a huge grand opening party, but it will hopefully be a nice night. They are hoping to just get a few of the old people in for the night.
If you had an open bottle at the old U Bar and still have your bottle ticket, they will also honour you purchase.
The specials for Tuesday and Wednesday are BUY 1 GET 1 FREE on ALL Drinks. But this is for Tuesday and Wednesday night only.
So I hope to see everyone there tomorrow.

Well for all the Veterans of Shenzhen, I do not need explain the phenomenon know as “U BAR”.
BUT…for the sake of the newbies to Shenzhen, U Bar was one of the longest running bar/clubs in Shenzhen, aside from Class (Know known as Hi Class).
After a series of fires in unlicensed premises through out the greater Shenzhen area, the government did a crack down and found that U Bar had not had their papers in order for sometime, and alas….DOORS WHERE INDEFINITELY CLOSED.
But, the business people that U bar were, they quickly took over the dying “Lace Bar” in CITIC Plaza.
This however did not meet the approval of most U bar’ers, it was not gritty or grimmy, and was in fact a lot pricier that U Bar.
So ala, once again….DOORS WHERE INDEFINATELY CLOSED AGAIN.
But, in the last few days it has been brought to my attention that U Bar is re opening.
Same Place on Jiabin Lu, same name, some of the same faces, but knew owners. Also I have been told they will keep the same style, but give it a make over inside.
The plan is 28th April, But I think it will be closer to May Holiday opening.
Will let everyone know when new updates arise.
