SWIC promotes social and cultural exchange between the women of the expatriate community in Shenzhen. This is done through meetings and activities in the spirit of mutual understanding and friendship.

SWIC provides a focus for social and cultural activities for members and is of particular value to newcomers by serving as a means to meet other expats, find resources, and learn about resources available in the city. Our members come from all parts of the world, include many different nationalities, are young and older, with and without children. Membership is limited to foreign passport holders or those who have a spouse with a foreign passport.

Current regular activities include; coffee mornings, book club, tennis, mahjong, mothers & toddlers playgroup, archery, foodie groups and so much more! Weekly activities are driven by member interest and are communicated to members via the SWIC WeChat account.
